Mardi Gras Casino brings the spirit of Mardi Gras to Black Hawk. The Mardi Gras is not afraid to let it all hang out and will often have celebrations, bbqs, etc right outside their front door. The casino is physically connected to one of the largest poker rooms in Colorado, at its sister casino the Golden Gates. Just get on the SkyWalk and enjoy the view of Black Hawk on the way. There is plenty of gaming action right in the Mardi Gras though so if poker is not your thing, just stay where you are!

Restaurants: Plenty of dining in the Mardi Gras: Cafe on 3 at Golden Mardi Gras serves just a little bit of everything: deserts, cajun food, pasta, Mexican fahitas, steaks, pork and chicken dishes!. Lucky's services a lot of standard casino fare with fried appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and wraps. There are also various Asian dishes served here. You'll also find light breakfast foods at Lucky's for the early morning gambler. There is also the Full House Cafe (at Golden Gates) across the skywalk.
Mardi Gras Casino - the building and the games: This casino sticks out with its fairy-tale like steeples and copper roof top. It's a dramatic site at night in this section of town. Out of the Mardi Gras comes a brighly lit and colorful skywalk (enclosed) that takes you to the free parking garage and sister casino Golden Gates. Across the street is the White Buffalo fine dining at the Lodge Casino with its restaurant hanging over the busiest intersection in town. The gaming is great here with nearly 700 slot machines and a little of most table games (roulettte, craps, blackjack) - however for poker, you need to cross the skywalk into Golden Gates (who has the largest poker room in town outside of perhaps Ameristar's Poker Room)
Hotel Lodging: If the Mardi Gras Casino was lacking anything it would be the hotel. (There is none!) However its location makes this not much of an issue. For one thing just across the Highway sits Ameristar Casino and Hotel which is the largest in casino in Coloardo - and also has the largest hotel. A short walk gets you to both The Isle of Capri Casino & Hotel and its sister casino: Lady Luck Casino & Hotel. The Lodge at Black Hawk also has lodging. Not good enough?
